Sandy Frizzell Batton named PACSTX Executive Director
AUSTIN, TX 9/18/18 — Providers Alliance for Community Services of Texas (PACSTX) announced today that its President and Board have named Sandy Frizzell Batton as the organization’s first executive director. Frizzell Batton has represented PACSTX at the legislature and before regulatory agencies as the director of policy development and government relations since 2013.
“Sandy has been a hard-working, dedicated team member of Providers Alliance for Community Services of Texas,” said PACSTX President Doug Svien. “We are confident in her new role she will help to build the reputation of our organization at HHSC, the Texas Capitol and across the state.”
Providers Alliance for Community Services of Texas (PACSTX) is a statewide association of long-term care providers delivering Medicaid services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community.
As head of the organization’s government relations department, Frizzell Battonhas been responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of PACSTX’s legislative and policy agendas with the Texas Legislature and state agencies. Frizzell Batton has over a decade of experience in association management and government relations.
